Kirby and Rebecca are working with Rebecca’s parents in Southeast Asia. They are there as part of the work Team Expansion does worldwide. They are working in translating the Bible and other training material in to the Mein language.

Their spiritual work is a natural extension of their physical work. Jesus came to build a spiritual kingdom but uses earthly building blocks. Jesus gives many examples of his concern for the physical needs of people. Their work by necessity is more covert than overt, but on occasion they and the Lao workers have confessed their faith before governors and police. They believe in lifestyle evangelism. While they go on living their lives as Lao businessmen, they look for opportunities to share Christ. They have facilities built to bring in believers from other provinces, and train them on mill property. They have Bible classes as well as training in soybean, broiler and layer production.

Rebecca teaches children who are interested in studying English. Many of these students are now studying at university, studying law, medicine and business.

They provide avenues to bring Christian material into Southeast Asia. They alert Christians to pray for persecuted Christians inside Southeast Asia. They provide hospitality, medical services and help in other emergencies. They meet one on one with believers to study the Bible.

“I have become a servant...to present to you the word of God in its fullest.” Colossians 1:25

-Praise God for Caleb’s life and continued prayer for recovery
-Opening of doors in yet unreached places in Southeast Asia
-That God will go before them and prepare the hearts of those who will hear the Word
-Wisdom on how best to become all things to all men
-Unity of hearts and minds of those working to declare the mystery of Christ
