This mission was established in 2000 by Kenroy Clarke. Kenroy was born in Barbados and his wife Stephanie was born in Kentucky USA. They were married in 2001 and have been ministering in the Caribbean since then. Kenroy is a graduate of Ozark Christian College and Stephanie is a graduate of Morehead State College in Kentucky. They have one son, Preston Daniel Clarke. He was born on November 28th, 2005. Our ministry in Barbados involves pastoring a growing church in the eastern part of the island. Over the past year this church has had to expand its present building to accommodate the growth and we will soon be starting construction on a new sanctuary to seat 400. Stephanie is very involved in the ministry at the church. She has established a married couples ministry and a women's ministry. Kenroy co-hosts a radio program called "Living Waters". This program is aired weekly and heard throughout the Caribbean. Kenroy is the director of recruitment & development for the Lower Caribbean Bible College in Barbados. He is also a professor at this college. Kenroy is also involved in a prison ministry, where he ministers to the female inmates of the local prison on the island. He is also working at establishing prison ministries throughout the Caribbean. Caribbean Missions extends beyond the shores of Barbados and reaches out to the Caribbean and South America. Brother Kenroy travels the Caribbean frequently to coordinate and preach at crusades and revivals. He also conduct teaching seminars. Medical evangelism is also a part of our ministry. We are currently partnering with FAME Canada (Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism) and Dr. Burtram, an eye doctor from Kentucky, to conduct medical clinics throughout the Caribbean. Another aspect of our mission is humanitarian work. We are involved in building and repairing houses for the poor and also church buildings. We also do food and clothes distribution to the poor and needy. Caribbean Missions does a lot of work in the South American country of Guyana. Each year we take a team there to preach crusades, build houses, distribute food, and clothes. This year we will be branching off into medical evangelism. We will be conducting health, dental, and eye clinics there. We were able to establish a farming project there. Several farmers received financial support to establish and expand their farms. Our mission also gives monthly financial support to a minister in Guyana. Brother Kenroy has been making a big effort to unify the Caribbean churches. To accomplish this he has been coordinating a bi-annual leader's clinic on the different islands. He has also been successful at establishing a regional missions body that is made up of directors from the different islands. Bro Kenroy is the chairman of the board of directors for CICM (Caribbean Internationalpp Christian Mission). CICM focuses on church planting and evangelism throughout the Caribbean. It also provides disaster management in the event of any natural disasters. This ministry has grown significantly over the last five years and continues to expand. Hundreds of lives have been touched and many more continue to be transformed as a result of this ministry. God as used many people to be a blessing to this ministry and we are truly thankful for our financial and prayer partners.
