Information:
The King family includes Darrin & Chrissy King, married in 1992, with their four children Zachary, Austin, Chloe, and Wyatt. Darrin graduated from Ozark Christian College in 1993 with a BBL, and Chrissy holds dual degrees from Ozark and Missouri Southern State College. Beyond the call of growing in their faith in Christ and their relationship as a couple, they are dedicated to enjoying their children and sharing life in Christ with them. Darrin, on staff as a living link missionary at Christ’s Church of Oronogo since 1994, continues that partnership with CCO under the auspices of PUENTE Ministries, Inc. He enjoys language, cultural studies, and gardening when he can. Chrissy, in addition to being a supporting wife and mother to four, is an avid scrapbooking participant and teacher. After five years in Honduras, and three years working with Hispanics in the USA, they are excited about the opportunity to return to Central America to focus on leadership development in Costa Rica.

SUMMARY

For the remainder of the Institute project (scheduled to finish in February 2008), our work as missionaries here includes administration of the mission and helping our Institute Director, Edwin Guerra with the administration of the Institute, which we've named El Legado, or "The Legacy". We are are also resposible for some teaching during the 14 months, as well as hosting visiting pastors, professors and leaders who teach, and translating for them. We are also responsible for hosting groups, which number 8 for the year 2007. As it is a new church plant that is springing from the work of the Institute students, and there are no formal leaders as of yet, we are expected to fill that role as well in the local church.
