Our Vision.
Haven Counseling desires to be a tool used to turn all people into fully devoted, mature followers of Jesus. We will not force our belief system on anyone who chooses Haven Counseling, but we do want clients to know our counseling is biblically based.

We are a ministry of Christ's Church of Oronogo, but we also open Haven's doors to provide counseling for people from any church in the four state area. We also want to include people who have not professed a Christian faith, but desire a faith-based approach to counseling.

Services will be provided by qualified professional counselors who are committed to God's Word. Services may also include professionally accepted treatment methods if they comply with scriptural truth. Each client will have the opportunity to take direction from God's Word while being treated with the highest regard for confidentiality and in an atmosphere of unconditional love.

OUR STAFF

Lindy Roberts is the Director of Haven Counseling. Lindy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who gained a Biblical Foundation as a graduate from Ozark Christian College. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling from PSU. She left a 9 year church based counseling ministry to set up Haven Counseling. She and her husband Phil were married in 1973 and have two children. Both of whom are married and have blessed them with grandchildren. Lindy enjoys reading, swimming and gardening.

We also offer special groups and classes that include:

Healing Hearts:
     Women's wounds originating from childhood through present relationships.
Reconstruction:
     Men's wounds originating from childhood through present relationships.
Pre-Marital Track
Marriage Enrichment

Ongoing Recovery Groups:

      Monday Evening
          Substance Abuse Recovery Group meets at 7:00 p.m. in room B-201.
          Family and friends are welcome to attend with recovery person.

Haven Counseling is located in the northeast corner of the church building at 22145 Kafir Road in Oronogo.
